Ppsspp Keyboard Not Working, Getting reports that keyboard input isn't working right.

Ppsspp Keyboard Not Working, 2016 macbook pro Monterey OpenEmu v2. 5. I've used another keyboard just to confirm but it seems like the issue is with the computer not recognizing a keyboard plugged in. Then I tried it with two other controllers.
